Estudiantes de La Plata travelled to Colombia to take on Deportes Tolima in Group 7 of the 2011 Copa Libertadores on Wednesday night. Federico Fernández gave them the lead midway through the first half, but it didn’t last long; Nelson Benítez stupidly hand-balled minutes later, allowing Felix Noguera to equalise from the penalty spot. The draw was enough for Estudiantes, though. El Pincha have qualified for the second round of the Copa for the fifth time in six years, with a game still to play at home to group leaders Cruzeiro. The goals from Wednesday’s game are right here.
