The ninth round of the 2011 Torneo Clausura is already underway as I type, with Estudiantes and San Lorenzo – two title contenders – currently drawing 0-0 at half time in Quilmes’ stadium (Estudiantes’ ground is still being cleared up after the U2 gigs recently). Estudiantes’ fellow joint-leaders River Plate host Banfield on Saturday evening, whilst Boca Juniors will be hoping to continue their recent resurgence away to Lanús on Sunday.
