A key weekend in the relegation battle in the Primera arrives. No matches were played on Friday evening, but Sunday sees a critical clash, as River Plate visit Bahía Blanca to take on one of the title challengers – and also one of the promoted relegation-strugglers, as discussed on this week’s Hand Of Pod – Olimpo. If San Lorenzo can beat Arsenal before that, this afternoon, it could also be crucial to the battle. In the title race, leaders Vélez Sarsfield are away to Tigre on Sunday, there’s the Olimpo vs River game already mentioned, and the other two frontrunners both play on Monday night: Lanús host Huracán and Godoy Cruz are at home Gimnasia La Plata. The run-in starts here! As ever, kick off times and referees are right here.
All kick off times are local. Add four hours for British Summer Time; take one off for Eastern Standard Time in North America.
