The second round of matches in the 2011 Torneo Apertura began on Monday with an easy away win for Arsenal de Sarandí against newly-promoted Atlético Rafaela, and concluded with Boca Juniors’ first 4-0 win in nearly a year and a half, against Unión de Santa Fe. In between, Vélez Sarsfield brushed aside Banfield 3-0, and San Lorenzo scored twice in quick succession to get a 2-0 win away to Estudiantes, who looked seriously lacklustre. The goals from all four games are right here.
Atlético Rafaela 1 – 3 Arsenal
Vélez Sarsfield 3 – 0 Banfield
Estudiantes 0 – 2 San Lorenzo
Boca Juniors 4 – 0 Unión

Mendez-Gigliotti, Gigliotti-Mendez, those two goals are just so beautifully simple and superbly executed, it’s amazing to think that San Lorenzo were so poor before they scored them. Boca’s goals look more spectacular, but the San Lorenzo double was devastating football.
