Tuesday afternoon saw the start of the ninth round of the 2011 Torneo Apertura, with Arsenal de Sarandí hosting All Boys – a match which provided the day’s only win. All Boys took a 2-0 lead through two goals from Juan Carlos Ferreyra, one from a hand ball and the other from the penalty spot, before Arsenal pulled one back as the clock ticked into stoppage time. The other two matches were draws; Colón and San Martín failed to provide any goals, and Banfield v Olimpo finished 1-1, the home side thus scoring their second goal of the tournament and claiming their fourth point – they’re now a massive two matches unbeaten. All the goals are right here.
Arsenal de Sarandí 1 – 2 All Boys
Banfield 1 – 1 Olimpo
A metaphorical tip of the hat to anyone who can spot the non-deliberate mistake associated with this post. It’s one I noticed before posting, but thought it would be more fun not to correct, since it’s so minor. Please have a guess in the comments section.
