Apertura 2011: Tigre get a win to keep the fight going (video)

Tigre beat Newell’s Old Boys by a goal to nil on Friday afternoon, to keep their battle against relegation alive and, incidentally, move joint second of the 2011 Torneo Apertura (albeit temporarily). Carlos Casteglione got the goal with nine minutes to go until half time with a header from a free kick. In the day’s other Primera match, San Martín and All Boys drew 0-0 in San Juan. You can see Casteglione’s goal for Tigre right here.
