Copa Sudamericana 2011: Vélez stumble in their semi-final first leg

Vélez Sarsfield suffered a setback in Quito in the first leg of their Copa Sudamericana semi-final, away to LDU Quito. With two goals from Hernán Barcos, the Argentine former Racing  and Huracán striker, Liga won 2-0 at home to set up an awkward second leg for Vélez on Tuesday night. One plus for Vélez is that by then, their stars Juan Manuel Martínez, David Ramírez and Víctor Zapata should have returned from injury. You can see Liga’s goals right here.
