Clausura 2012: Independiente lose again, San Lorenzo win but remain in trouble (videos)

Friday’s and Saturday’s matches in the 2012 Torneo Clausura crept up on HEGS very quickly, because I was in Puerto Iguazú with my parents during the week looking at these bloody enormous waterfalls. My family go home during the next week, so as from the next round of Clausura matches normal service will be resumed. In the meantime: San Lorenzo beat Argentinos Juniors 1-0 away, but remain in the relegation playoff spots; Independiente lost their third straight game at the start of the year, 2-0 away to Estudiantes; Roberto Sensini, in his first game as Colón manager, got a 3-1 win over Olimpo, and Friday saw wins for Belgrano and All Boys over Unión and Rafaela, respectively. All the goals can be seen right here.

Belgrano 1 – 0 Unión

Rafaela 0 – 1 All Boys

Colón 3 – 1 Olimpo

Estudiantes 2 – 0 Independiente

Argentinos 0 – 1 San Lorenzo
