Clausura 2012: Boca and Tigre joint top, and Avellaneda’s sides are still crap (goal videos)

The 2012 Torneo Clausura has seen some interesting results so far during its fourth round. Rafaela and Olimpo still have to play, on Monday night, but whatever their result, Tigre and champions Boca Juniors will end the round joint top of the Clausura. Boca won 2-0 away to San Lorenzo, and just after that Tigre claimed a 1-0 win over Lanús to keep their relegation battle alive. The other big winners of the round are Belgrano, who beat Newell’s Old Boys 2-0 away on Friday, and Argentinos Juniors. Argentinos won 3-1 away to Independiente, whose Avellaneda rivals Racing drew 0-0 with Arsenal de Sarandí, leaving the two Avellaneda sides still without so much as a win between them. All the goals so far (including one of the stupidest own goals you will ever see to give Estudiantes a win over San Martín de San Juan; honestly, don’t watch it whilst drinking or eating anything or you’ll ruin your computer keyboard) are right here.

Newell’s 0 – 2 Belgrano

Banfield 1 – 1 Godoy Cruz

Independiente 1 – 3 Argentinos

San Martín 0 – 1 Estudiantes

San Lorenzo 0 – 2 Boca Juniors

Uníon 2 – 2 Colón

Tigre 1 – 0 Lanús
