The 2012 Torneo Clausura continued on Monday night with the last two matches of the seventh round. In Mendoza, Godoy Cruz fell behind but got an equaliser late on against Olimpo, to draw 1-1, and a little later in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Liniers, Vélez Sarsfield lost for the first time in the Clausura, 1-0 at home to Newell’s Old Boys. The latter result leaves Estudiantes de La Plata top of the table, and the only unbeaten side left in the championship.
