Friday evening saw the start of the eighth round of the 2012 Torneo Inicial, and there were two home wins to kick things off. Belgrano de Córdoba beat Godoy Cruz 1-0 thanks to a Claudio Pérez strike halfway through the second half, before Atlético Rafaela started early, but left it late to put the gloss on a 3-0 win over Tigre, who still haven’t won after eight matches. As well as the goals from those matches, we’ve also got the strikes from Domestic Argentina’s 2-1 loss away to Domestic Brazil on Wednesday night in the first leg of the Superclásico de Las Américas.
