Torneo Inicial: Lanús join the title race by thrashing Tigre (video)

Lanús pulled themselves to within just three points of league leaders Vélez Sarsfield on Sunday, with a 4-1 tonking of Tigre which leaves them third in the table. Surprisingly, none of the day’s other three matches saw a single goal; there were goalless draws between San Martín de San Juan and Independiente, Colón and Boca Juniors, and Racing and champions Arsenal de Sarandí. The goals from Lanús v Tigre can be seen right here.
