Inicial 2012: Arsenal de Sarandí go out on a high, & Centurión’s equaliser means Unión end year winless (video)

Friday evening saw the first two matches of the final round of the 2012 Torneo Inicial. Outgoing champions Arsenal de Sarandí, who didn’t have the best campaign in defence of their title, went out on a high note at least with a 1-0 away win over All Boys in Floresta, thanks to Emilio Zelaya’s first half effort. And Unión had to settle for ending 2012 without a win in the most agonising fashion possible – Nicolás Correa’s 69th-minute goal had them heading for a 1-0 win right up until supposed Manchester City target Ricardo ‘Ricky’ Centurión equalised six minutes into stoppage time. All three goals are right here.

All Boys 0 – 1 Arsenal

Unión 1 – 1 Racing
