Champions Vélez start the year with a stunning goal from Lucas Pratto (video)

The 2013 Torneo Final began on Friday evening with Unión and 2012 Clausura champions Arsenal de Sarandí fighting out a 1-1 draw in Santa Fe. Next was the visit of defending champions Vélez Sarsfield to Argentinos Juniors, a match held up by a floodlight failure just twelve minutes in. When it stopped, Argentinos had been well on top, but after the restart Vélez asserted their authority, and a stunning long-range goal from Lucas Pratto about twelve minutes before half time was enough to win it for them. You can see that goal, and the two from Unión v Arsenal, right here.

Unión 1 – 1 Arsenal

Argentinos 0 – 1 Vélez
