Copa Libertadores 2013: Atlético Mineiro’s championship reviewed

This isn’t actually Argentina-related, but since there’s not much to report here apart from Seba Verón’s return to action for Estudiantes in a pre-season friendly (they beat Atlético de Madrid 1-0) on Saturday, and Emanuel Gigliotti scoring on his Boca Juniors (friendly) debut for Boca Juniors in a 1-0 win over a team of San Luis Province ‘All Stars’, I thought I’d stick up a link to my ESPNFC article on Atlético Mineiro’s penalty shootout win over Olimpia in Wednesday night’s Copa Libertadores final second leg. It’s a win which means Ronaldinho becomes the fourth man to have won the treble of European Cup, World Cup and Copa Libertadores. Here’s the article.
