Saturday’s first Primera match saw Rafaela visit All Boys and claim a late equaliser through a smart volley by Diego Vera to snatch a 1-1 draw, after Mauro Matos had headed the hosts into the lead during the first half. Most eyes, however, were on the Estadio Libertadores de América, where Independiente were hosting Brown de Adrogué in the visitors’ first ever match in the second tier (and Independiente’s first in over a century). Brown got a shock 2-1 win, with goals from Martín Fabro (an Independiente youth product) and Matías Sproat either side of a Daniel Montenegro penalty for Independiente. All the goals from both games are right here.
All Boys 1-1 Atlético de Rafaela
Matos (All Boys)
Vera (Rafaela)
Independiente 1-2 Brown de Adrogué
