Monday evening brought the last two matches of the twenty-first round of Superliga action. In Bahía Blanca, relegation strugglers Olimpo and Temperley played out a 1-1 draw which suits neither of them in terms of survival: Olimpo are now 13 and Temperley 14 points behind Tigre (who are outside the relegation zone), with the same number of matches played and just six games remaining. Like Chacarita Juniors, they’re not down yet, but there’s very little doubt they will be. In Mendoza, later on, Godoy Cruz claimed their ninth home win of the season in just their tenth home game of the season. They left it late, though; Santiago García grabbed the winner against Colón two minutes into stoppage time.
