The sixth round of Superliga 2018–19 action started promisingly, with five goals in the first game and four in the second. San Lorenzo took an early lead, trailed at the break and stormed back in the second half to win 3-2, with youngster Adolfo Gaich bagging his first goal for the club and Franco Mussis scoring a cracker on his return from a year-long injury layoff to win the game late on. In the later game, Colón – who’ve started the season poorly and had a couple of key players out here – surprised Godoy Cruz, winning 3-1 against the title hopefuls in Santa Fe with Leonardo Heredia, a 22-year-old midfielder who arrived in Santa Fe on loan from Uruguayan side Plaza Colonia, for whom he’s never played a game, scoring a hat trick.
